Wednesday

Scrape out my eye,
offer it to Odin.
He refuses. “’Twas unwise,”
he tells me.
“What do you believe
I learned when my vision
Was halved? And do you
think your ocular sacrifice
can replace my own?
Wait for tomorrow.
You will need both sides
soon enough.”
