Selene

The moon’s light shines
through the crack in my curtains,
falling on my face.
I awaken.
I feel Her power,
calling me back:
Get up. Get up.
Come dance with me;
the night is warm
The priestess blood within me
runs slow.
Another time, another night.
I turn away,
block out her light.
But in my dreams,
I dance.
