Inanna-sig, Evening Star Inanna

As Enheduanna of old
I stand before you now:
Your gleaming
ruby wanderer
a testament
for the ages

Glorious in your queenly robe
Radiant in your form:
Inanna of the evening
I praise you, sublime Lady

You sing to my heart, greatest Warrior
You are the highest of Priestesses
You are the generous Lover
You bear the me

On your lapis throne
circling the sky
your crescent boat radiantly shines:

Queen of the heavens
resplendent beauty
of every evening
