Weep for Persephone
Pray for the queen
Of the flowers
And the dead
The glutton
The starved
Spend your wishes
With the hope
That her mercy may last
Through the cold winter
That her light
Never swallowed
By the darkness that
Sought to rule her
Wanting only
The color streaming
From her mouth and
To leave the rest
Bare
