Of Hermes

I sing of Hermes,
son of Maia, grandson of Atlas,
cave-born son of Zeus, quick footed
cattle lifter boundary crosser
wild boy lyre maker
circuit breaker wing-sandal traveler
gift giver luck bearer.
Hail Hermes in the crossroads
and on the pavement gleaming.
